Stallholder FAQs

When should I set up my stall?

Set up times will vary depending on your location at the event.  You will be advised of your set up time when your stall is confirmed.  As the event starts at 10am, all stallholders will need to be in place and setting up by 9am at the latest.

Is electricity available for stalls?

We can provide access to electricity from a generator for food stalls and food trucks.

If you want to access power from our generators, you will need to have tested and tagged cables of sufficient length to reach from your stall to the generator.  No tags, no connection.

You can bring your own generator along with you as long as it is a quiet generator.  The organisers reserve the right to ask you to turn off your generator if it’s noisy or smelly, or otherwise impacting on other stallholders and people attending the festival.

If you are located near a business on the Main Road, you are welcome to approach those businesses to seek access to power.  It is your responsibility to ensure that any cords are secured well – with plastic cord covers.  The organisers reserve the right to ask you to unplug cords that are not satisfactorily secured.

I want to sell food – can I?

Yes you can.  We encourage a wide range of food stalls and trucks at our event.  We will be ensuring variety – so will limit the number of stalls selling the same kind of food.  This includes baking sales and sausage sizzles.  Previous stallholders selling these items will be given priority if these areas are oversubscribed.

Oh no! I can’t make it – can I get a refund?

If you cancel between 23 September and 6 October, you will receive a 50% refund on your stallholder fee.  If you cancel on or after 7 October, you will not receive a refund.  This is because we will have booked equipment and services based on the projected number of stalls and the type of stalls.  We still incur these costs past a certain date.

Are there any restrictions on what I can offer?

Not many.  We do ask that you do not give away any food (except samples) so as not to take business away from the stalls selling food.

Can I choose where my stall is located?

The layout of the festival will be confirmed once stallholder registrations have closed and successful stallholders have been contacted.  While you can indicate a preference of where your stall is located, ultimately the organisers will decide on stall placement based on a range of factors including amount of space required, co-location of similar stalls and the overall layout of the event.
