When is the next Spring into Tawa?

Is there an entry fee?
Spring into Tawa is a free event for all.
Are there any cash-out facilities?
The festival itself has no cash out facilities. There are three ATMS (BNZ, ANZ and Kiwibank) within the festival area. Some stallholders and retailers may be happy to provide cash out facilities. There is no cash-out facility from the event organisers.
Can we get food and drinks at the fair?
Yes, as well as the wide range of fabulous cafes and food outlets in Tawa, we will also have some of Wellington’s premium food trucks and a great range of food stalls.
Where are the toilets?
Portable toilets will be available within the festival area (look for signage on the day). There are also public toilets outside the Tawa Library and in the New World complex.
How do I get to Spring into Tawa?
You can bring your car – there is heaps of parking. There is also a bus service to Tawa from Porirua and Johnsonville, or you can catch the train (get off at Tawa Railway Station – it’s a two minute walk to the festival). Can I bring my dog to the fair?
Dogs are welcome – on a leash. Please bear in mind this is a family event and there will be lots of children. Anxious or aggressive dogs may struggle with the noise and the number of people.
Is this event accessible?
Yes, the event is held on the Main Road. Accessible parks will be available nearby.
What parking is available?
There is a lot of on street parking around the festival. There is also off street parking in the Tawa Community Centre carpark and the Tawa Railway Station park and ride.
