Embrace Design was started by Henri Hudson (former Tawa College student) after finishing a Bachelor of Creative Technologies at WELTEC. Embrace Design is based in Tawa and all of the products you will see have been designed and fabricated in Tawa too. The artwork is all created by our team at Embrace Design where we take inspiration from nature and pop culture.
Our 3D printed vases are made with PLA filament which we make ourselves with raw granules and pigment. The plastic that we make is suitable for household recycling and is biodegradable by industrial composting.
Unlike a lot of regularly found glassware, which is sand blasted or decorated with decals, ours is laser engraved. You can put our glasses in the dishwasher or scrub them over and over without the image disappearing.
For the Tawa market we designed a glass vase with a local twist. We created art work inspired by the 'Floral Tawa' sign that is seen when entering our suburb from the South. We have five of these lovely vases left.
Our laser cut birds come in sets of three. They are made of pre-loved materials with beautiful designs. We up-cycle the materials into one-of-a-kind art for your wall. They also make wonderful Christmas gifts.
Pick yourself up a new set or two of our laser engraved glassware or a new vase for all of the Spring flowers blooming in your garden. There will be plenty more to see and buy at our stall.
From all of us at Embrace Design
We hope to see you at this years Spring into Tawa market and share with you our creations.
